Van Horn is an artist focused on “Creating Treasures from Wood”. This includes sculptured boxes, writing instruments, clocks and other forms of artforms made of wood. All her pieces are of-of-a-kind originals hand made in her shop/studio in Angleton, Texas. Her focus is on using the highest quality materials and components including exotic and unique woods from around the world. She creates functional art. Art that is both beautiful and can also be used by the owner. Her focus is on excellence in workmanship. She is also focused on customer satisfaction with all creations guaranteed. Van Horn is a retired banking manager and has traveled internationally with her husband. She has drawn inspiration for her designs from her travels in Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and the Middle East.
